About these terms

The game

• High Goal is a fantasy game, free to play; optional membership is paid (see Membership below). The money in the game (club cash, player values, prize money) is virtual. It has no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, exchanged or withdrawn.
• High Goal is not gambling: you never stake real money and never win real money.
• We may change the game's rules, prices and features, reset seasons, or correct the game when a result or value is wrong.
• Everything a club does in the game is public, with its time, on the club's page. That openness is part of the game.

Your account

• You must be 18 or over to create an account.
• Give a name you are happy to show other owners and an email address you can receive mail at, and keep your password safe. Sending messages and claiming a profile need a confirmed email address.
• One person, one account. Don't automate play or interfere with the site.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can delete yours at any time in your account settings (it is erased 30 days later) or by emailing us.

What you post

You are responsible for messages, photos, descriptions and listings you add. Don't post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading or that you don't have the right to share. You keep ownership of what you post, and give us permission to show it on High Goal. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Listings of real ponies and other items for sale are between the buyer and the seller. High Goal is not part of the sale and does not check the pony, the price or the seller. Agree terms directly and check before you pay.

Real players, teams and results

High Goal is based on public results from real polo. We work to keep them accurate, but results, dates, handicaps and names can be wrong or late, and we correct them when we find out. High Goal is independent: it is not run by, endorsed by or connected with any player, team, club, tournament or polo association shown on it. Profiles can be claimed by the people and teams they describe.

Membership

Membership is optional and adds features such as messaging. When it opens, the price, billing period and how to cancel are shown before you pay. You can cancel at any time; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Liability

We provide High Goal as it is and can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We are not liable for losses that arise from the game's virtual money or from relying on its data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protections of your local law. See also our privacy policy.

Changes

When these terms change we update the date at the top, list the change here, and tell account holders about significant changes on their next visit.

• 5 October 2026: account deletion from your account settings, email confirmation for messages and claims, a note on real-world listings, and clearer wording on membership and names.
